Welcome to the Sandford Laboratory at Dartmouth

Research in the Sandford Lab focuses on the design of new catalytic reactions and the understanding of their underlying reaction mechanisms. Our work spans from physical organic chemistry to all aspects of modern synthetic organic chemistry, with the goal of creating new reaction methodologies to address challenges in medicine and sustainability. Members of the group will work on interdisciplinary projects and gain expertise in a wide range of experimental, analytical, and computational techniques.
